‘That ’90s Show’ Sets Two-Part Release Date

After premiering in January 2023 and ending with a cliffhanger that left audiences desperate for more, Netflix has finally announced that That 90's showthe sequel to the long and beloved That 70's show it will finally return this summer, with a caveat. Following the tradition of other successful series such as Bridgerton i The Sorcerer, the streamer will release the new season in two big parts. The first part will be released on June 27, followed by the second part four months later on October 24.

As frustrating as it may be for fans now used to getting entire seasons in one go, there is a silver lining, though it's purely hypothetical at this point. That 70's show It spent 8 years airing on one network during the typical broadcast season, from September to May, meaning it had its fair share of seasonal episodes. Releasing so close to Halloween, it could be this That 90's show Will he dip his toes into the world of the Halloween or Christmas episode? While we obviously have no idea at this point, it will be interesting to see what the new season brings.

One thing we know for sure is That 90's show Season 2 will feature exciting new tricks for the ensemble cast led by Kurtwood Smith i Debra Jo Rupp like Red and Kitty Forman. With Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) back in town, Season 2 features the return of his friends Jay (Mace Colonel), Gwen (Ashley Aufderhide), Ozzie (Rey Doi), Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan) and Nikki (Sam Morelos). It's 1996 and Leia Forman returns to Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be back together after nine months of long distance. But he's ready, as Jay still doesn't know that he almost kissed Nate. Nate is worried that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn't know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out it's not very long. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are on the line, and summer is about to end before it even begins.
