AMC's “Immortal Universe” series based on Anne Rice's novels is expanding. A new series based on the psychic order of Talamasca scholars is coming next year, according to Limit date. In Rice's books, the Talamasca are an ancient and secret order that catalogs and studies the supernatural. The members of the Talamasca have already been introduced to the viewers of Witches of Mayfair i Interview with the vampire. Although, they have a bigger presence Witches of Mayfair Bye now. Unlike the previous two series inspired by Rice novels, there is no Talamasca book series by the late author. Instead, he used them as seasoning in several of his supernatural novels. In the 2000s, when Rice “crossed over” she Witching hour series and his vampire books, played an important role. Rice often teased a standalone Talamasca novel, but it never came to fruition. He eventually revealed the origins of the organization in his 2014 novel Prince Lestat. He tied his beginnings more strongly to vampires. According to Dan McDermott, president of AMC Studios, a Talamasca spin-off series is something the studio has been thinking about since its Anne Rice Immortals Universe began. He said: “This is a story we've been developing and wanting to tell from the very beginning of this franchise, centered around a fascinating and compelling secret society that has already appeared in the two existing Anne Rice series.” Filming begins this fall in Manchester, England. In the novels, the main Talamasca motherhouse is in England, so that makes sense. The Talamasca The series is slated to debut on AMC and AMC+ in late 2025.
