American cook and author Anthony Bourdain's graphic novels are making their way to the small screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Swimming for adults have commissioned a series based on Bourdain's story, Get Jiro!. Adult Swim's upcoming Bourdain-based venture was previously revealed Discovery of Warner BrosAdult animation presentation at the Annecy International Animation Festival in Annecy, France. The festival, created in 1960, runs from 9 to 15 June. The announcement is accompanied by a series renewal for My Adventures With Supermanwhich will go into production for its third series.

My Adventures With Superman is currently airing its second series. The serialized show is based on popular d.c characters, following the young adult iterations of Clark Kent (Jack Quaid), Lois Lane (Alice Lee), and Jimmy Olsen (Ishmel Sahid) as they navigate life in Metropolis. The show's second season is expected to include big twists and revelations, with the sixth episode of the season set to debut on June 22, 2024. The season's conclusion is said to have serious implications for the now commissioned third season .

Bourdain's new series and renewal were also announced along with the announcement of a Super Mutant Academy of Magic adaptation The graphic novel, written by Jillian Tamakiwill come from creators JG Quintel, known for Cartoon Network's Usual showi tamaki. The story will focus on Marsha, a transfer student who finds herself in a high school full of mutants and humans. Marsha will have to learn to navigate high school social relationships along with her classmate's ever-present superpowers.

Get Jiro!The source text of the same name was written by Bourdain and Joel Roseand illustrated by Langdon Foss i Alé Garza. Bourdain and Rose's first graphic novel in the series was published by DC/Vertigo in 2012. Adult Swim has commissioned a half-hour animated show based on the News from New York best-selling graphic novel. The show will be set in the not-so-distant future, following Jiro, the mysterious and vengeful titular sushi chef, as patrons of his restaurant in a pseudo-Los Angeles resort to violence and murder in order to get a table in one of its popular restaurants. The show is created by Alessandro Tanka i Brian Gatewoodwho are best known for writing A24 characteristic sharperstarring famous faces Julianne Moore i Sebastian Stan. The couple also served as producers on the NBC comedy series superstore.
