A historic mansion designed by famed architect Jules Jacques Benedict has hit the market for $2.8 million.
Urling House, built in 1921 and located at 4050 Montview Boulevard in Denver, Colorado, is one of the most prestigious mansions in the area thanks to its grand design and exquisite detailing. Originally a wedding gift from Benedict to his daughter Madeleine, the 5,506 square-foot home has been featured in several books about Denver architecture and the Park Hill neighborhood.

The exterior design draws the eye as soon as you step in front of the home: crimson herringbone brick, a green tiled roof and an elegant arched green doorway that has previously been recognized as “one of the most beautiful doorways in Denver,” as per the property listing.
Inside, the fine design details continue. Throughout the main level of the six bedroom, six bathroom home, arched doorways and windows, high beamed ceilings and white oak floors help to open up the space give a light and airy feel. Additionally, a glass-paneled atrium—a signature design feature in Benedict’s architectural work—floods the staircase with tons of natural light.
