A day before the premiere of The bear Season 3, one of the main stars of the show spills all about a possible romance between him and another main character. When you talk to Collider's Cristina Rave about the upcoming season of the Emmy Award-winning series, actor Carmy Berzatto Jeremy Allen White addressed rumors of a potential romance between her character and Sydney Adamu (Oh Edebiri). Carmy and Sydney have been working closely together, sometimes getting along and sometimes at each other's throats, but the two have always had a lovely back and forth. However, White didn't mince words when asked if there was ever talk of exploring a romance between the two characters:
“Really, it's not even that we don't agree with it. Our writers, Chris, never talked about it. [Storer] or for me and Ayo. It's something that happened completely outside of our experience and the experience of the show. It's wild It's not something we considered, and then we said, “No, we don't.” It just didn't happen and never would.”
While it doesn't sound harsh in the sense that White or Edebiri weren't adamantly against a Carmy and Sydney romance, it's clear from top to bottom, the writer's room to lay the floor, there was never a plan to maintain a romantic relationship between the two in the third season of The bear. While the two have solid chemistry as co-workers, it's important to remember that the writers and actors should have full creative control to see their vision for these characters. While some may be disappointed that there won't be any sizzling romance between Carmy and Sydney in Season 3, at least now the world knows that it's not something that would ever happen; it's always best to rip this Band-Aid off quickly.
“The Bear” is coming to Hulu ahead of schedule
A few days before The bear was supposed to drop all episodes at midnight on Thursday, Hulu came out of nowhere to announce that the series would premiere three hours earlier. While this may not seem like a big difference, for a program that uses the binge model like The bearthis gives east coast fans a chance to catch a few episodes before bed. The bear has a lot of competition between the boys, House of the Dragoni the acolytebut with 10 Emmy wins for Season 2, The bear it will certainly prove once again that it is not an animal to be trifled with.
