Parker is a traumatized, active-duty Special Forces officer who has just received the news that his father, Harry, has died suddenly. When he returns home to take over the bar his father owned, he begins to notice a few details about his death that don't add up. Believing that he has been killed, he then begins to delve into the circumstances, despite being warned to just “let it go”. As a trained combat veteran, she doesn't share the same fear that other locals have regarding thinly veiled threats of violence and tries to find out exactly how her father died, who killed him, and why he was killed.
Jessica Alba will take on the role of Parker in this action thriller, a type of role he is not entirely unfamiliar with. Ezekiel Swann seems to have a friendly history with Parker and her late father as he welcomes her to his hometown. However, once Parker begins to look a little too closely at his father's death, his friendly mask begins to slip. As a powerful politician in the area, his words carry a lot of influence among the locals, including those in the police force. When the police turn a blind eye to the violent and illegal activities of the local gang, they are surely following orders from someone higher up the chain of command. It's unclear how involved Ezekiel is with the gang's activities, but you can quickly tell from the trailer alone that he can't be trusted.

He warns her to “stay away”, but it's unclear if she had any involvement in Harry's death, other than not asking questions she doesn't want answers to. Even though he seems to really care about her, that doesn't mean he's completely innocent either. If push comes to shove, will he have Parker's back or is he too much in Swann's pocket?
Mark Webber is an actor and director, with roles in many feature films and television series. He directed his first film, Explicit evils, in 2008 and wrote, directed and starred in the 2017 drama Blood and liver. Webber also appeared in the 2010 action comedy, Scott Pilgrim against the world and the thriller A24, Green Room. He is currently working Statues of Libertywhich he also wrote and directed.
