UFC’s Tom Aspinall Humiliates Influencer ‘Angry Ginge’ in Grappling Session

As anticipated, interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall completely dominated UK influencer Angry Ginge during a recent grappling session.

While pursuing a fight against lineal champion Jon Jones for the undisputed title, Aspinall is staying sharp in the gym. His recent training partner was none other than popular UK content creator, Angry Ginge.

Aspinall`s last fight was a defense of his interim belt against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in July. Since then, he`s focused on securing a shot at the undisputed championship against the victor of the Jones vs. Stipe Miocic bout.

Jones defeated Miocic late in their fight to keep his lineal heavyweight title, marking his first defense after a long wait. Following the win, Jones suggested talks were underway with UFC management regarding a potential unification fight against Aspinall.

Aspinall Demonstrates Ground Dominance, Dares Angry Ginge to Strike From Bottom

Aspinall hosted Angry Ginge at his gym, offering to teach the influencer some basic MMA techniques. As a top UFC competitor, Aspinall possesses extensive knowledge in both striking and grappling.

The session began with boxing basics, a skill Aspinall has used to knock out opponents like Serghei Spivac, Serghei Pavlovich, and Marcin Tybura. Ginge appeared eager to learn as Aspinall demonstrated stance, technique, and pad work.

However, the dynamics shifted dramatically once they moved to the ground.

Aspinall challenged Ginge to control him from full mount, a task the influencer was unable to accomplish despite hoping for a memorable clip. In another sequence starting from side control, Aspinall even allowed Ginge to attempt ground strikes while he effortlessly worked to escape.

Throughout these exchanges, Aspinall remained in complete control, offering Ginge a stark lesson in the realities of grappling and MMA.

Jon Jones Hints at Retirement, Casting Doubt on Aspinall Fight

A potential fight between Aspinall and Jones recently faced uncertainty after Jones reportedly hinted at retirement during a FaceTime call. He allegedly told another fighter “I`m done” when discussing his fighting future.

UFC CEO Dana White publicly expressed a relaxed attitude regarding making the Jones vs. Aspinall fight happen. However, he also mentioned the possibility of stripping Jones of the title if negotiations stall, which would be a frustrating outcome for Aspinall.

Regardless of whether he faces Jones or a different top opponent, Aspinall is anticipated to compete for the undisputed heavyweight championship later this year. Meanwhile, speculation continues about the conclusion of Jon Jones` remarkable UFC career.
