Kelly responded to Zac's civil claim with a lengthy social media post on May 19, calling his lawsuit “useless” on social media and promising a “swift and robust” response.
“No one, not even Zac Brown with all his money, power, celebrity and lawyers,” Kelly captioned a May 19 TikTok video, “can silence my right to express myself freely through the art or, although I have so far declined to do so publicly, to discuss the circumstances of our pending divorce.”
She noted that while she initially remained silent amid their split, she denied allegations that she leaked confidential business information through posts on her Instagram account.
The 33-year-old concluded the post on social media by adding: “Like Zac, I have lawyers and I will speak my truth in court, where I have been needlessly dragged into it.”
