With all this talk of a possible Supernatural season 16, maybe the Winchesters need to veer away from TV with a full-blown, big-screen horror movie to elevate their legacy. With a higher budget and cinematic scope, a film could offer sharper visual effects with a more complex narrative compared to the series, as well as draw from some strong genre-specific influences. If The X-Files could pull it off twice, Supernatural could pull its weight in the Impala.
