The McLusky family is finally making the long-awaited return to television Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, starring again Jeremy Renner. The hit series co-created by the TV guru Taylor Sheridan has become a huge hit for the streaming world, but there was understandable concern that the show wouldn't return after Jeremy Renner's serious snowplow accident. Fortunately, Renner has recovered from the accident and is back and ready to reprise his role as Mike McLusky.
Taking place in a small, remote town in Michigan, the story of Mayor of Kingstown it begins with the McLusky family, a very powerful dynasty that runs the local prison facility in Kingstown. Not only do they run the day-to-day operations of the prison, but they also engage in shady operations to stay in power and prevent the various factions of the city and the prison from breaking apart. Everything changes when the town's mayor and Mike's brother, Mitch (Kyle Chandler), is killed and Mike must pick up the pieces in his place.

Unfortunately for fans of live TV, Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 will not premiere on cable, as the upcoming season will require a streaming subscription to see the McLusky family back in action. Paramount revealed the first trailer for Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 last April finally reveals a proper look at the highly anticipated season. Once again, Mike McLusky tries to hold the town of Kingstown together, but it's getting harder and harder to do with the many gangs and factions that have taken over. One of them is an old enemy from Mike's past, Merle Callahan (Richard Brake), which would cause all kinds of problems for the city's controversial mayor. Notably absent from the trailer footage Dianne Wiest like Miriam McLusky, who reportedly won't appear Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 follows the character's ambiguous fate in Season 2's cliffhanger.
