When Mauricio debuted Dancing with the starsKyle was in the ballroom to support him and his partner Emma Slater while performing a jive.
And Kyle took his support a step faster, detailing how to vote for Mauricio on his Instagram story.
After the DWTS at the premiere, Mauricio gave an update on the status of his marriage.
“We were dealing with our own stuff, kind of, very quietly and internally, just our own issues,” he explained on the Sept. 28 episode of The Agency's. little red podcast “I mean, we're certainly not separated. We're not divorced at this point. We're none of those things. We're still dealing with our marriage.”
The 53-year-old noted that he is grateful that almost three decades have passed without ever encountering marital problems.
“It's been an incredible 26 years and it's been a tough year,” he said. “Kyle and I are blessed, where we actually went 26 years that we didn't have a bad year, and I know most marriages have bad months, bad weeks, bad years.”
Mauricio then addressed the rumors that he and Kyle staged their split for publicity.
“I'm not going to destroy my life to put a plant in the news so people can have more entertainment,” he claimed, insisting he's “not that smart or that conniving.”
