The film, based on Robin LeeThe book of the same name, starring Anne as Solène, a 40-year-old art gallery owner who has an affair with Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the 24-year-old singer of the boy band August Moon.
And when it came to chemistry readings for her and Nicholas, Anne didn't have to use kiss tests to know she'd be right for the part.
“I remember laughing when Nick came in because he was so ridiculously perfect for the role,” she said, “I just thought, 'That's him.'”
And what about the rumors that Hayes relies on Harry Styles? Anne claims that there is no truth.
“Everybody needs to relax,” she told E! News in March. “Sorry, I probably shouldn't be so reactive about it. I just don't think so.”
Nicholas even helped shut down the rumors.
“It's become that thing in itself,” he explained to E! news “We tried to get away from that, and I think Hayes is such a wonderful character in his own right. We used so many amazing references: BTS for much of the choreography, which was great. There are so many references.”
