“I think people forget that in my situation, moving into my sister's house was strategic,” she noted. “So, I said, 'I have to go find a new place, or I have to get into a place that allows me to travel pretty easily to the mainland.'”
And despite being literally the odd man out in the house, Joey said it was a no-brainer to fit in and move in with Kelsey instead of trying to find a place of his own.
“It would have been a mistake for me to say, 'We have to take you out of your life,'” he shared, “because he gave up his whole life to be a part of this. And I knew that no matter what it was. would happen, my life would have to change and go somewhere else.”
