“I've seen people comment on other queer people's posts, like, 'That baby needs its biological father,' or, 'That baby needs its biological mother,'” Farago said, “they don't realize that people who do IVF (queer or straight) want these babies so much and will love these children so much AND they are probably in one of the most loving homes there is because of the amount of time, effort and money people put into them. having these babies will be much loved.”
He also continued, “People are so focused on biology and DNA that they forget that babies don't care about that.”
Their children may have questions when they grow up, and Farago said they will eventually learn the identity of their sperm donor.
But, he added, “when they're kids they just want to be loved. We can give them that, and that's the most important part. That's all that matters.”
