Wipro Launches Lab45 AI Platform to Improve Efficiency Across Enterprise Operations

Wipro, the multinational IT services and consulting firm, unveiled the Lab45 AI platform on Tuesday. The artificial intelligence (AI) platform is an enterprise-focused suite that aims to help its customers gain greater efficiency in business functions. It leverages generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies to deliver personalized business solutions. The company has made the Lab45 AI platform available to all its customers and employees. Notably, Wipro said the platform has been tested by limited external customers and employees over the past six months.

Announcing the platform in a press release, Wipro Chief Technology Officer Subha Tatavarti said, “Our Lab45 AI platform is a testament to Wipro's commitment to innovation and productivity. We are excited about the transformative impact that this platform will have in business, especially in HR, sales, marketing and other business functions. Our platform will help our customers innovate faster while balancing privacy and responsible AI.”

According to the company, the Lab45 AI platform operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and offers multiple AI agents and large language models to its customers. The platform is said to include more than 100 AI agents and more than 10 generative AI models. In addition, it offers pre-built no-code and low-code applications for various business functions, such as Human Resources (HR), sales, marketing and operations. Companies can also build industry-specific AI agents and applications based on their needs.

In addition, the platform allows companies to access custom applications through API-based access for custom applications, which it claims will make it easier to implement AI models in specific environments .

Citing one example, the IT giant claimed that Topcoder, a crowdsourcing company acquired by Wipro with a global community of developers, programmers, designers and data scientists, witnessed a seven-fold increase in the use of generative AI after of integrating Lab45 AI into your workflow.

Separately, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) recently launched WisdomNext, an AI aggregation platform for enterprises. It is designed to allow companies to experiment with various generative AI models to familiarize themselves with the technology, as well as to use it in different workflows to achieve greater efficiency and cost optimization.
