Fans have waited decades Eddie MurphyThe return of Alex Foley and that wait is coming to an end as the fourth installment of the franchise, Beverly Hills Police: Axel F, coming to Netflix this July. The film will bring back some familiar faces along with some new ones as anticipation builds for fans to get a fresh look at the feature that flaunts every aspect. A new set of images finally sees the old team back in a car and shows all the fun that goes on behind the scenes.


Featured by Entertainment Weekly, one image sees Murphy receiving a warning from Detective Jeffrey Friedman (Paul Reiser). Another image sees him sharing space with Luis Guzmán i Joseph Gordon-Levitt while another image gives us a look at the expanded cast. One image, however, stands out when Murphy is seen sitting in a car with his old friends Billy and John, which is a scene near the end of the film, the director Mark Molloy he teases, “Axel has definitely been up to his usual antics. And as always, Rosewood and Taggart have been keeping a close eye on him.”


What to expect from 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F'


In the next installment, Alex returns to Beverly Hills when his daughter Jane's life is threatened. He then teams up with a new couple and his old friends John Taggart and Billy Rosewood to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy. The film will be full of surprises and Murphy's antics, as Molloy reveals: “You have one of the greatest comedians, if not in my eyes, the greatest comedian in the world. A big part of my job is to create a space. for improvisation to thrive, I always want to get what's on the page, but when you have someone like Eddie Murphy, you want to set him free.” He further teases, “And as I look back on the movie, some of the funniest moments in the movie are when Eddie improvises and the audience loves it.”

Along with its many nostalgic features, the film also boasts some compelling performances Gordon-Levitt as Detective Bobby Abbott, Taylor Paige as Jane Saunders, Judge Reinhold as Lt. Billy Rosewood, John Ashton as Sergeant John Taggart, Paul Reiser as Detective Jeffrey, Bronson Pinchot like Serge and Kevin Bacon like Captain Grant.
