TV

Disney Lorcan: The Return of Ursula he has been with us since May, and we've all been learning how this latest chapter plays out in a storm of buildings in the magical kingdom of Lorcana. Ursula is nothing but persistent. She's also, unfortunately, super powerful. The Disney Lorcan: The Return of Ursula Illumineer's Trove reflects all things Ursula with its moody color palette and dark smoky streaks. Ravensburger sent an Illuminador's Trove to nerdy for review, so let's take a closer look.

For review, here's what comes with the Illuminator's Trove:

  • 8 booster packs
  • 1 knowledge tracker
  • 6 dice to track damage
  • 6 card dividers
  • 1 storage box

You'll notice that the Illuminator's Trove for this chapter unfortunately doesn't return the lore booklet that goes into more of the story. Hopefully we'll see it come back in future sets or in some other form.

MSRP is $49.99. The booster packs alone are worth it, but then for a bit more you get themed items to enhance your gameplay and storage. These extras have increased in quality with each release. The storage box has art splashed with heroes and villains fighting and highlighting it The return of Ursula try action and stop Ursula. It's quality and the kind of box I'd find a purpose for if I didn't need it for all of mine Lorcan cards

Although we have seen splitters and a lore tracker in a previous Illuminador's Trove, these fit perfectly with the darker theme of this release. Wisps of smoke or a dark mist envelop the lore counter, which displays numbers in a fuchsia color. Dividers are different because instead of marking the ink color, they are used to organize your cards by rarity. With their muted colors, these dividers fit perfectly with the overall ambiance. And well, I like them because they might help me finally memorize rarity symbols.

Finally, my favorite part of the The return of Ursula Illumineer's Trove: The damage counter die. They are aqua and purple swirled with gold numbers, lovely with just a touch of transparency, which I choose to interpret as light reaching the depths of the ocean. Also, these are just a few of my favorite colors. I will never be mad to add more dice to my collection.

The Disney Lorcan: The Return of Ursula Illumineer's Trove is available now at your local game store and mass market retailers.
