Somehow, this street racing franchise spans ten films with an eleventh installment due in 2026. It has been on a strange journey that is truly one for the movie history books. Who ever thought they would end up in literal space? But as NBCUniversal Studio head Donna Langley said varietythe Fast & Furious It is likely that the franchise will continue with other films or even a spin-off series of some kind. Vin Diesel's hints about a possible 12th movie appears to be accurate.
“Where do we go next is a question,” Langley said. “We can pivot to another time and take it back to the streets of LA and maybe make it a more intimate story.” He also hinted that the universe is also suitable for a TV ride. Maybe what this franchise needs is to give the keys to some new characters and move in a new direction.
Brian's son Jack or perhaps Dom and Letty's son Brian could be next in the driver's seat. Or going to a time period in the past to explore street racing could also work. Either way, everyone who's upset about the Fast and Furious franchise continuing might as well get over it. Accept that family is everything and will never, ever disappear.
