‘Fire Country’ Fans Can Expect the Unexpected for Gabriela’s Wedding Day

all inside Country of Fire Season 2 has been building up to Gabriela and Diego's wedding day. The season finale will see the day arrive, but it won't be without drama because it is Country of Fire. stars Billy Burke i Estefania Arcila spoke to TV Insider and teased the day's unexpected events. Questions have been raised throughout the season about where Gabriela's heart lies. She and Bode spent a lot of time looking at each other, hinting at the possibility of having feelings for each other. Roberta's arrival in episode 8 didn't make things any better as she stomped on old wounds and fueled some fires that people had been trying to put out.

There are doubts about whether the wedding will take place because Gabriela doesn't love Diego as much as she loves Bode, but according to Burke, “There will be a wedding. What happens at that wedding is in question, and Bode might be rethinking his status as a relation in the whole scheme of what is before him.” Before the wedding day, however, the station heads to the campfire, where Bode and Gabby have a heart-to-heart. Arcila spoke of that moment, saying:

“I think this is a special moment in the sense that they haven't spent much time alone together in a while. And at the end of the day, I think Gabriela feels that she knows Bode is a safe space when she needs to talk or express herself with everything she's going through. So I think it's going to be a bittersweet moment for the audience.”

The wedding will surprise fans

Arcila teased some things that will surprise viewers. “Everyone will be surprised by all the characters, with all the twists and turns that come with each character. It's also a very emotional episode, especially for Manny (Kevin Alejandro). And I don't think people expect what's coming. It'll keep you on your toes.” She does, however, promise that fans will see Gabriela in her wedding dress.

The episode will end with a cliffhanger looking at Bode and Gabriela's relationship. “They feel a lot, but I also think they both don't know where they're going to leave them because the way the episode ends, you'll see why. The way the episode ends, I don't know. How they both feel about where they're at, I think that they're both really hurt and confused and trying to hold it together,” Arcila said of this development.
