Former Lakers Player Darius Morris Dead at 33

In 2013, Morris was reassigned to the NBA G League team, the Los Angeles D-Fenders. In 2014, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies on short-term contracts. He then joined the San Antonio Spurs and later the Portland Trail Blazers before being waived that October. Two months later, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets, playing with the team until mid-2015.

After leaving the NBA, Morris spent time on other NBA G League teams, including the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and was also a player for teams in foreign leagues, such as the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Basketball Association Chinese and, more recently, the French LNB Pro. A's BCM Gravelines-Dunkirk in 2020.
