Fuller confirmed his departure on social media. he shared on X“For reasons beyond our control, A24 has chosen to take a different path with the material. Peacock has officially ordered a direct extension to the series Friday the 13th prequel show titled Crystal Lake. this Friday the 13th The show will be directed by showrunner and writer Bryan Fuller. Gifted and visionary are definitely words we would use to describe anything Bryan Fuller touches. So we're very excited to entrust this beloved horror franchise into his bloody capable hands and minds. Fortunately, Bryan Fuller will have access to anything he has to do with it Friday the 13th for this streaming show.
