HMD Global is expected to introduce its own branded smartphones later this year. The company has teased the prospect, but hasn't confirmed any models. However, leaks surrounding the alleged phones have surfaced online in recent weeks. A previous leak had suggested a list of nicknames that HMD might introduce. Now, a tipster has leaked design renders of two rumored HMD models: HMD Pulse and HMD Pulse Pro. It has also suggested the expected price, key features and specifications of the phones.

Tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) has leaked details of the alleged HMD Pulse and HMD Pulse Pro models. He shared details about the base model HMD Pulse in collaboration with MySmartPrice. The leaked design of the phone was seen in three colors – black, blue and pink. The brand appears in the middle of the rear panel, while the rectangular camera module is located in the upper left corner. It is seen with very thin bezels, a centered punch-hole for the front camera, power and volume buttons on the right edge and a SIM tray on the left.

The base HMD Pulse is powered by an octa-core chipset and may pack a 5,000mAh battery. It is also likely to include a 6.56-inch IPS HD+ display and a 13-megapixel AI-backed main rear sensor.

Along with 91Mobiles, the tipster also shared the HMD Pulse Pro details, including leaked renders. These show the phone in a black color option with rounded edges and a flat screen, similar to the vanilla model. A rectangular camera module located in the upper left corner of the rear panel houses two camera sensors alongside an LED flash unit. The imprint on the island suggests a dual 50-megapixel rear camera unit.

The HMD Pulse Pro also appears with a relatively thicker chin, compared to its side bezels. The power button and volume rockers are seen on the right edge of the phone, while the left edge is seen with the SIM tray slot. There's also a punch-hole centered at the top of the display to house the front-facing camera sensor.

The report adds that the HMD Pulse Pro will likely be priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs. 15,900) for a 6GB + 128GB option. It is expected to be powered by a Unisoc T606 SoC and may feature a 6.56-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,480 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone's dual rear camera unit is rumored to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone's front-facing camera is also likely to have a 50-megapixel sensor.

The HMD Pulse Pro is also thought to carry a 5,000 mAh battery. It's also expected to have an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone may weigh around 196g.
