Morgan Wallen he is taking responsibility for his arrest.

Nearly two weeks after he was charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct in Nashville for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Chief's Bar, the country music star has spoken out and addressed the situation.

“I didn't feel good about going public until I got it right with some people,” she said wrote to Xformerly known as Twitter, April 19. “I have touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family and the good people at Chief's. I am not proud of my behavior and accept responsibility.”

Wallen added“I have the utmost respect for the officers who work every day to keep us safe.”

The 30-year-old man was arrested by police on April 7 after officers stationed outside the bar saw a chair fall from above, according to arrest records reviewed by local station WKRN. After investigating the incident, authorities found surveillance footage showing Wallen “throwing an object onto the roof,” which is six stories above the street.
