Realme is gearing up to bring the flagship Realme GT series to India. Realme founder and CEO Sky Li teased the return of the GT series to the country via the X. The latest addition will target the premium mid-market segment of the country. Realme has not revealed the moniker or any details about the upcoming phones. The brand is confirmed to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9. It will come as a sibling to the Realme GT Neo 6 SE that was made official at the beginning of April.
Sky Li on Tuesday (May 7), through an X publication, confirmed the return of the Realme GT series in India. The brand will launch the sixth generation GT series in the country as part of its sixth anniversary celebrations. Realme aims to target the mid-range market segment with the new line. The publication doesn't divulge much information about the smartphone's moniker or specifications, but as mentioned earlier, the new lineup is confirmed to be a flagship offering.
While the exact model is under wraps, the Realme GT 6 is widely speculated to debut soon. Realme's GT Neo 3 and GT 2 Pro are currently available for purchase in India.
Meanwhile, Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9. It is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It teases having an 8T LTPO display, an IP65-rated build, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The Realme GT Neo 6 SE was launched in China in April at a price of CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version. It is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and features an LTPO 8T OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 6000 nits peak brightness. It sports a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and houses a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.
