Ava Phillippe has a message for certain online trolls with cruel intentions.
On May 3, Reese Witherspoon and ex-husband Ryan PhillippeThe 24-year-old daughter hit back at people shaming her on social media.
“NBD, but I just hit a major milestone as a woman online,” she wrote in a TikTok video, which showed her standing in front of a mirror and properly applying red lipstick before going on to that it looks stained. “I saw 2 different strangers commenting on my body.”
According to Ava, the comments contradict each other. “The first one said I should go to Oz*mpic because I'm too fat,” she said. “The second one accused me of starving myself because I'm too thin. My weight didn't change in the time period between their comments. (and it wouldn't be their business if it did!)”
Ava continued: “They're bull. No one deserves to be dismissed because of their looks. You don't always know what someone's been through or what they're struggling with. But no matter who you are… beauty transcends such superficial measures.” .
