Russell Brand has been questioned again by the Met police. The comedian who has denied all the allegations against him has seen his reputation go down like a lead balloon.

The comedian attended a police station in south London on Thursday, where he was interviewed under caution. These allegations come after Brand previously denied allegations of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse at the height of his fame.
The Metropolitan Police, tasked with investigating the allegations against Russell Brand, confirmed that a man in his 40s attended a south London police station on 16 November 2023.
They said: “A man in his 40s attended a police station in south London on Thursday 16 November 2023. He was interviewed under caution by detectives in relation to three non-recent sex offences. Inquiries are continuing.” .
The once popular comedian and actor has faced numerous controversies throughout his career. However, the latest allegations of historic sex crimes have put him under scrutiny once again.
The claims came after Dispatches, The Times and Channel 4's The Sunday Times published articles on September 16 and 17 detailing incidents which allegedly took place between 2006 and 2013.
Four women filed claims against Russell Brand, accusing him of sexual misconduct during the height of his fame. These allegations include rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse.
In an earlier statement about the allegations, he expressed his denial of the “very, very serious criminal allegations.”
Russell Brand said: “What I seriously dispute are these very, very serious criminal allegations. It is also worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narrative that these two major media outlets are apparently trying to construct , in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack”.
“Now, I don't want to get into this any further because of the seriousness of the allegations, but I feel like I'm being attacked and they're obviously working very closely together. Obviously, we're going to look into this because it's very, very serious.”
No charges have yet been filed against Russell Brand, but some experts believe that could change soon.
