Southeast Texas on maximum flood alert, rainfall nears record levels – CBS News
In Southeast Texas, the risk of flooding is dangerously high. Water levels in some areas are nearly as high as during Hurricane Harvey, which dropped more than 50 inches of rain in some places, setting a new US record. This morning, floods flooded neighborhoods and blocked roads. Additionally, another two to five inches of rain could fall before the end of the week.
