We admit we weren't sure yes to Ted prequel series it was a necessary addition to our lives when we first heard about it. But it seems the talking bear has won hearts and minds again. Ted It was originally pitched as a mini-series on the Peacock, but now Seth MacFarlane's creation is getting a second season, to variety. According to Peacock, Ted was the most-watched original title to date, and Neilsen's data suggests it was one of the top streaming comedies in the US for more than two months. How about soft toys?
The synopsis of the original Ted series says: “In this series of comedic prequels to the Ted movies, it's 1993, and Ted the Bear (Seth MacFarlane)'s moment of fame has passed. He now lives at home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John's parents Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a bad influence on John, but at the end of the day, he's a loyal friend who's always willing to go out and find friendship.“
