few War of the galaxies video games are as loved as Knights of the Old Republic. The BioWare game first came out in 2003 and was an instant hit. Taking place 4,000 years before the events of the Skywalker saga, the game brought fans back to a time when there were thousands of Sith fighting thousands of Jedi Knights. For years, there have been rumors about it KOTOR becoming a movie, or possibly a Disney+ series. While going to press for the acolyteshowrunner Leslye Headland mentioned that she would love to tackle an adaptation KOTORfocusing on one particular character: Kreia de KOTOR II. This is what she said Tortillaroad IGN:

“I've always wanted to explore a live-action version of the Knights of the Old Republic game and the character of Kreia. I think it would be a very interesting story to bring to life.”

Lucasfilm

In the game, Kreia is a blind, but Force-sensitive character. He has a different kind of relationship with the dark side and the light side of the Force than the average Jedi. She was the Jedi Master who trained one of them the game's main characters, Revan. It was he who turned against the Jedi and founded a new Sith Empire. For this and other reasons, she was exiled from the Jedi Order. War of the galaxies fans often cite her as one of the best characters in the franchise.

So when will Lucasfilm finally adapt Knights of the Old Republic? The epic war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic is one of the most requested live action projects. And Lucasfilm has it he scoffed at the possibility of doing so for several years. For his involvement with game of thronesmany believed that Dave Benioff and DB Weiss were now called off War of the galaxies the movie was based on KOTOR, but it was actually another project. We sincerely believe that if and when Lucasfilm formally announces a live action Knights of the Old Republicit would be as big as if they announced one Star Wars: Episode X. We'll just have to wait and see if it ever happens.
