Pop culture has long warned us about the dangers of spending too much time inside an office. Still, Hollywood can't stop spending time in one. NBC is developing a potential follow-up series The office. We now know at least two people who will be working on this new iteration if it ever opens. War of the galaxies' Domhnall Gleeson and The White LotusSabrina Impacciatore are the first performers to join the cast of the spin-off.

The Hollywood Reporter he says Gleeson and Impacciatore have signed on for a potential new sequel to the hit NBC series, which remains as popular as ever thanks to streaming. This new version is in development by the creator of the original series Greg Daniels and Michael Korman. However, neither NBC nor Daniels and Korman have confirmed any details about the show. They also declined to comment THR about this casting news.

Daniels, then set up a writing room in January. But it still has a long way to go for it to be broadcast anywhere.

With two established stars joining the show, however, it feels closer to filming than ever. Impacciatore is an Emmy-nominated actress, and Gleeson is known to both this world and the galaxy far, far away as the loathsome General Armitage Hux. Does this mean Gleeson could be playing an equivalent role to Michael Scott in this new series? (He just starred opposite Steve Carrell on FX's the patient.) Or could the show opt for Impacciatore to play the show's boss? This only happened for the first time in any country version with those of Australia The office last year. And he necessarily has management experience thanks to white lotus

Or neither of these two could be the boss. Could they be the new Jim and Pam? Dwight and Angela? To find out, we'll have to go to the one place pop culture tells us is terrible for us, even if it's fun to watch other people go there.
