Liars will be back soon with the return of the pretty little liars reboot, originally known as original sin and now called Pretty Little Liars: Summer School. The announcement that the show was being renewed was exciting for fans of the suspense franchise, who had already seen two spin-offs of the OG series canceled. The original Max has Bailey Madison, Chandler Kinney, Maia Reficcoi Malia Pyles reprising their roles as Imogen, Noa, Tabby and Mouse for this new batch of episodes. After Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin premiered in July 2022, its gripping horror story had fans wondering if the show would be picked up for Season 2. With much gusto, the news came in September, followed by an announcement that the series would have a different title for its next batch of episodes. . It begins with the five girls sitting in front of Dr. Sullivan (Annabeth Guish) as he assures them that they are now safe from 'A' who is on death row. While that doesn't seem entirely true by the looks of this brief moment when Tabby opens her closet and sees the serial killer's mask, there's another chilling theme on the Liars' minds . With the amount of absences they racked up during Season 1, their new headmistress warns the girls that they won't be able to spend summer vacation the way they'd hoped. Instead, characters will have to attend summer school to advance to their first year. Studying for a few hours in the morning and working part-time the rest of the day, the girls enjoy some free time from being chased and chased by 'A'. At least for a while. When Rose Waters goes into hiding leaving creepy messages for each of them, the protagonists band together to try to track her down before she comes after them with a knife.

While PLL was still airing, the franchise's first spin-off premiered on ABC Family. Ravenswood it had a murkier production look compared to the OG show, but still featured the suspense of its predecessor. Centered on Caleb Rivers (a PLL character played by Tyler Backburn), the series was set in a town near Rosewood, which harbored a dark past. The series continued from where the OG show left off, with Sasha Pieterse and Janelle Parrish reprising her roles as Alison and Mona. The two now live in Oregon and work at Beacon Heights University, a campus full of talent whose pursuit of perfection ends in murder. The series also included well-known cast members such as Sophia Carson i Eli Brown. However, how Ravenswood, this spin-off only lasted one season.
