As previously reported, their herald the Silver Surfer will be played by actress Julia Garner. This will be the first time this great Marvel Comics character will be accurately portrayed in live action. In 2007 The Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer chose to portray the iconic character as a giant cosmic cloud, a very unpopular choice to this day.

After dropping the ball with Galactus in 2007 movie, we're sure it's a priority for Kevin Feige to get it right this time around. That means leaning on Jack Kirby's wild design for the character. He just has to have the big, goofy helmet, or it's just not Galactus Although a bit of a left field choice, we think Ralph Ineson is an ideal choice to play the role. We can already hear him saying the words “My herald” with desire in his head. The fantastic four hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
